The Role
We have an immediate need for a capable Project Manager to handle a range of projects $100k – 5 million within cladding, fit out and commercial construction projects all at once
We are seeking a highly motivated, supremely well organised, and commercially focussed Project Manager to join our experienced and professional team.
You will have the capability to truly “hit the ground running” in this key role with your proven ability to collaborate with a team, roll out a project with great affect and work with stakeholders to implement a success pathway using your experience and commercial acumen to be successful in this role.
This role is for a doer, someone that gets up in the morning because they love their work, someone who is self-driven and doesn’t need to be asked to do their job duties due to their proactive nature.

Responsibilities
- Commercial knowledge and ability in project management and the organisation of small to medium level projects within our target market.
- An ability to drive construction teams and subcontractors on site for execution of projects to time, quality and budget.
- Ensure that the project is adequately resourced to meet all targets around customer service, budget/profit, time, quality, safety, environmental and community liaison.
- Review project planning and monitor progress to ensure that all elements of the project work are on schedule and within cost estimates.
- Report on project performance criteria including cost, time, quality, safety and environmental and promptly initiate corrective actions necessary to ensure that the objectives will be met.
- Review and authorize design plans, construction plans, schedules, temporary work designs, method statements, job safety analyses to schedules.
- Resolve day-to-day on-site industrial relations issues and refer significant industrial relations problems to the Construction Manager.
- Supervise all procurement activities to ensure that subcontractors are capable of performing work assigned to them and that subcontract arrangements fully detail the scope of work and assign appropriate contractual obligations.
- Proven Project Management experience with a minimum 3 years within a cladding, fit out or commercial construction background.
- Relevant qualifications to perform the role professionally.
- Highly commercial, numerate and with an analytical aptitude and ability to identify appropriate value added or value engineering opportunities
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work on multiple activities as part of an agile team.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills and great time management as you will often be working to tight timeframes.
- Highly competent in using the relevant computer programs, Excel (advanced user) and MS Word
