The Role
Are you an accomplished Electrical Engineer with a passion for overseeing dynamic projects from concept to completion?
We're seeking a talented Project Engineer - (Overhead Substation) - Electrical to join our innovative team and contribute to the success of our cutting-edge projects based in Civil infrastructure, Rail, and Trams

Experience Required
- Manage and lead electrical engineering projects from design and planning through execution and commissioning.
- Assisting with project coordination, monitoring and execution of works, specifically focus on substation and overhead disciplines.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery within defined timelines and resources.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and technicians, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical evaluations to identify potential challenges and opportunities.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and testing of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and deviations during project execution, ensuring minimal disruptions to project progress.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, clients, and contractors to ensure clear project understanding and successful outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree - Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer in the electrical engineering field in civil infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency in electrical design software and project management tools.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licence is preferred.
- Prior experience in Civil Infrastructure / Rail / Trams is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal skills to maintain a high level of communication with all stakeholders to ensure that everyone is up to date on project status.
